ISU Hoops Off to Rocky Start
The Cyclones men’s basketball team opens their regular season this Sunday at Hilton Coliseum against Mountain State following a 1-1 exhibition round. ISU lost their pre-season opener to EA Sports, 64-57, but rebounded to beat Division II Bemidji State, 84-77. Turnovers and fouls have been big problems and shooting from the field has been shaky. Right now it looks like it might be a rollercoaster ride for the ‘Clones, but let’s hope the team finds a way to improve before the Big 12 opener against Kansas State on January 7.
