Cyclones Overcome TSU Tigers
Iowa State closed out its non-conference schedule with four straight wins after defeating the Tennessee State 59-51 at Hilton Coliseum last night. A slow start by ISU allowed the Tigers to take a 10-0 lead, but the Clones regrouped and closed the first half with a 20-10 run to take a 34-23 lead into the locker room. Clark led the team with 14 points, while Stinson and Blalock both scored 10 to give the Cyclones the win. ISU opens its Big 12 schedule at home against Kansas State next Saturday.
