Winnipeg Whizzinator
Onterrio “Mr. Whizzinator” Smith is getting back into football — in Canada. The former Vikings running back, who was suspended from the NFL last year for being a general dumbass, signed a two-year deal this week to play for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. You might think it a gamble for the Bombers to sign someone who scrubbed out of pro football after three failed drug tests and having his Whizzinator confiscated by airport security, but the CFL has no drug abuse policy. Also, the Bombers finished in the basement of their conference last year with a 5-13 record, so I’m guessing they’ll take anyone who might give them 1,000 yards (914.4 meters) rushing. And in case you’re wondering, the Blue Bombers play the Toronto Argonauts in Ontario on July 8. Mark your calanders! (Thanks to The Sideliner for the graphic.)
