Grady Jackson Looking For Work

Defensive tackle Grady Jackson, who played with the Green Bay Packers from 2003 until he became a free agent in 2006, is out of work once again. The Atlanta Falcons decided today to cut the 350-lb. lineman from the roster despite the fact that he has 18 tackles so far this season. I guess when the ship is sinking you start chucking non-essentials overboard to stay afloat as long as possible.

Don’t be surprised, though, if the beefy 11-year veteran signs with the Texans soon. Still an avid Packers fan, Mike Sherman is trying hard to complete his 2004 Green Bay collectors set and Jackson would look pretty good on display down there in Houston.
