The 81s

Randy Moss and Terrell Owens are the talk of the town after putting up some sick numbers yesterday. Both wide receivers scored four touchdowns, each played a down on defense and batted down a pass. The only difference between them yesterday: T.O. had 173 yards on eight catches, while Moss had 128 yards on 10 receptions.

It’s interesting, though, that the two most feared wideouts in the NFL right now both have significant histories playing against the Green Bay Packers. It will be quite a match-up when Owens goes up against Al Harris in Dallas in 10 days, and if the football gods continue to shine on the Green & Gold, #31 might get another shot at the other #81 in the Super Bowl.

The meat of the season is here. Time for Green Bay to show what it’s got and prove everyone outside Packer Nation wrong.
