Shell Shocked: Packers Season Ends

I’m too numb to articulate anything about this NFC Championship loss beyond anger, sadness, disappointment. One for 10 on third down; Plaxico Burress with 11 catches for 154 yards; the Giants held the ball for 40 minutes. An ugly way to end a beautiful season.

Congratulations to the Gints and good luck in the Super Bowl.

UPDATE: Dave Heller at the Journal Sentinel was kind enough to link to this post from the Packer Blog, so I though I’d pass it on to a few others:

Cheese & Packers has some sage words in regards to Brett Favre’s performance last night. “Brett Favre didn’t lose this game for us. But he didn’t win it either. I still like him.”

Some more perspective from The Rogue Hour. “Yeah it sucks losing like we did, at home in a game of this magnitude but the Pack has brought me too much joy this year for me to end it on a sour note. Good job guys, let’s get ready for next year!!”

The Wisconsin Sports Bar declares itself a Giants bar for two weeks.

And Packer Fans United has a remedy for your football loss hangover: the Packers Bikini Girls.
