“Even Though It’s Spelled F-A-V-R-E”
In a simpler time long ago, Brett Favre was just a snot-nosed kid out of Southern Mississippi who happened to complete a game-winning touchdown against the Bengals after Don Majkowski got injured and couldn’t return. Then he got to talk to Bob Costas co-hosts Buddy Ryan and OJ Simpson on NBC’s NFL Live after the game.
Who knows what would have become of Favre if the Majik Man had been able to return to duty the next week, but here we are 17 years later waiting to find out if No. 4 will return for another season as the quarterback of the Green Bay Packers.

Great post. Great clip. Nice walk down memory lane. Love Favre’s line, “The more I got hit the easier it got for me…” How prophetic! And it was unusual to see OJ in suit and tie but not in a courtroom…:)

Wow. I feel old watching that. I’ll bet Brett does too.
Indeed, OJ outside court and sounding articulate…odd.
