Get Ready For The Shit Storm
Pardon my French, but the first wave of angry outburst is already happening.
Tom Silverstein has posted on the JS Packers Blog some quotes from Brett Favre’s agent, Bus Cook, who says he thinks Favre wanted to play one more season but got the idea that the Packers — Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy — didn’t want him to come back. Or that they weren’t all that excited about the idea. Or something.
Angry fan outburst (fire TT; shoulda signed Moss; blah, blah, blah) ensues in the comments section.
More on this I’m sure as the days and weeks drag on.

Please. If he wants to retire I wish him nothing but the best and thank him for the years as a fan. But TT and McCarthy not wanting him back? That I don’t believe for a second.
I’m not mad at them, but if he goes out with no other comments besides these oblique ones from his agent, he looks like the bush leaguer.
