Where Rock Goes To Die
Yes, I’m talking about the Iowa State Fair! And who, you ask, is on the Bataan Death March the state fair circuit this year? None other than Scandal and Rick Springfield. Foreigner and Night Ranger are also coming. And then there’s Def Leppard with opening act Everclear.
Yee haw!
Of course these people are all playing the grandstand for paying customers, for actual money. Those sad sorry bastards in Foghat, though, have been relegated to playing one of the many free stages around the fair grounds.
