ESPN Wants To Shut Down Your Server

It looks like ESPN has recognized there is a realm of sports outside its vast imperial boundaries, and so naturally the Worldwide Leader in Sports wants to be the center of gravity for football fan blogs as well. Kevin Seifert, who writes about the NFC North Division, has put out the call for readers to suggest fan blogs he can link to during the season. One caveat, though: no profanity or libelous material. I’d say that pretty much cuts any Vikings blogs right out of the picture.

I just read this as well, Brats and Beer guy.

Not going to lie, I responded and included my blog, your blog, Cheesehead TV, Packergeeks, Railbird Central, and Tundra Vision.

I humbly nominated myself, plus BRATS AND BEER and THE FONTENOT.

If Bob LaLasz was still funnying it up, I would have included him too.

Thanks for your nominations; we’ll see who makes the cut. And yes, if Mr. LaLasz was still going strong, he’d be my nomination as well.

A sports blog without profanity is like a day without sun shine

ESPN hates puppies and America ;)
