Valley Of The Dogs
Despite not playing their best football, the UW Badgers last night managed to come away with a three-point win over the much hyped Fresno State Bulldogs. The margin of victory should have been much larger, but Wisconsin had too many missed tackles, allowed too many big plays, and got called for too many penalties. With such a slim lead late in the game, I thought for sure the Badgers would lose it on some razzle dazzle play by the home team, but they hung in there and made plays when they need to.
At least Bucky Badger comes home from California with a victory, unlike The Choke-hio State University. A 13-10 win in “The Valley” might not do UW any huge favors in the polls, especially with the Big Ten dropping ‘em like their hot yesterday, but the door now is certainly open now for the Badgers to make a run at the Rose Bowl. Michigan is definately a team in transition and both chOkeSU and Penn State come play at Camp Randall, so this young UW team might have a chance to win the conference.
And that has me excited.
