Vegans at Lambeau?

I’m not sure how I should feel about this, but PETA recently named Lambeau Field one of the top five vegetarian-friendly stadiums in the NFL. While it’s nice to see the historic stadium recognized, should we be worried that they’re serving too much tofu up in brats and beer country?

Hey, there’s nothing wrong with being vegetarian-friendly. My wife is a vegetarian and restaurants that have vegetarian options available makes it a lot easier for me to go to those places enjoy the meat dishes. Having a vegetarian brat available does not diminish real brats in anyway. Besides, as long as they’re cheering on the Packers who cares what they’re eating.

I’m a vegan and hardcore Packers fan. I travel from the Pacific NW once a year to attend a game at Lambeau. When I attended the Packers-Bears game last year, I was thrilled when I found out Lambeau had veggie brats. When I ordered one, the guy looked at me like I was crazy, but I didn’t care. It’s nice to see that Lambeau understand there are a variety of Packer fans out there.

    Go Pack!
